One of the truly great thinkers of our time. I remember seeing him speak over 2 years ago. I think I told you that story.
I hope they make the same fuss over Vonnegut when he dies as they are doing over Reagan and his reaganomics.

It is very true what he says about what is happening to our people (and the Iraqis, too, indirectly) in Iraq:
"Their morale, like so many bodies, is already shot to pieces. They are being treated, as I never was, like toys a rich kid got for Christmas."
I like how he spells it out, you can't argue against it, because he negates any viable arguement. It is what is going on.
How depressing.
hopefully, we can still see the joy in life, like that which comes from love.
